DESCRIPTION:slow music club is an event series focused on artists who occup
	y the quieter\ncorners.\n\nIt’s for those whose music rewards a considered
	 ear in an attentive room. The\nJunk Bar’s dedicated music space (The Skuk
	um Lounge) is the perfect place to\nhouse this concept with the seventh it
	eration of the series featuring 3 acts\nwhose sounds traverse acoustic fol
	k\, crossover electroacoustic\, and minimal\nlapsteel explorations.\n\n183

	~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n4000 Records is incredibly proud to present:\n\
	nANGHARAD DRAKE is trying something new. After her 2017 full-length album
	debut\nwith Ghost\, Drake moved from bustling Brisbane to the much quieter
	 Sunshine\nCoast to start a family.. Drake’s life as a mother only seems t
	o strengthen her\nfolk storytelling and lullaby melodies. From her home on
	 the sunshine coast\,\nDrake has returned to a more stripped-down way of m
	aking her music: just her and\nher guitar\, both more natural and more int
	imate. This new approach serves to\nemphasize her powerful voice.\n\nCitin
	g influences such as Elliot Smith\, Sufjan Stevens and Kurt Viles\, Drake
	is\na fresh voice in a sometimes formulaic landscape of singer-songwriters
	.\nListening to her music over the years\, there are nods to her folk infl
	uences\,\nbut Drake has continued to maintain and develop her own unique v
	oice. Her\nhaunting lyrics balance the yearning of young love with honest
	introspection and\na realness that’s hard to match\, and her melodies are
	the kind that you find\nyourself humming in your own contemplative moods w
	ith all the bittersweet\ncomplexity that this assurance entails.\n\nhttps:
	tme]\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\nLUNARMODULE is a
	n ambient music project by Danny Widdicombe\, rooted in\nexploration\, ope
	nness\, and the quiet poetry of the natural world.\n\nCreated in the heart
	 of Butter Chicken Studios\, the project blends original\nsoundscapes with
	 the lyrical voice of the pedal steel guitar\, an instrument\nwhose weepin
	g\, expressive tones drift through each composition like light\nthrough fo
	g. Working closely with the forward‑thinking label Futurfonic\,\nLunarModu
	le releases music that feels both intimate and expansive\, inviting\nliste
	ners into spaces where time stretches and dissolves.\n\nThe project draws
	deep inspiration from the infinite shapes\, colors\, and\ntextures found i
	n nature. Each track aims to translate those subtle organic\npatterns into
	 sound: swirling harmonic layers that echo shifting skies\,\nslow‑moving d
	rones that resemble geological time\, and melodic fragments that\nfeel lik
	e distant signals carried on the wind.\n\nThe result is music that offers
	both reflection and escape\, the familiar warmth\nof the pedal steel mergi
	ng with lush ambient atmospheres.\n\nLunarModule’s sonic world is one of i
	mmersion and curiosity—music designed not\njust to be heard but to be inha
	bited. It’s an evolving journey through tone\,\nspace\, and emotion\, craf
	ted for listeners seeking calm\, depth\, and a sense of\nthe infinite.\n\n
	]\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\nSHUGOREI is big\, l
	oud and brash… normally.\n\nBut we’ll do our best to resist that urge when
	 we play at the slow music club.\nOur releases have been diverse\, includi
	ng music that sounds classical\, or like\nIDM\, or even\, occasionally\, a
	mbient. Our last release\, Music for Uncertain\nWalls\, was just that.\n\n
	The thread that joins all of these is our ongoing desire to create magical
	\nworlds in music: tapestries and sparkling\, organic flows\, as we meld c
	rystalline\npercussion and eerie electronics. At The Junk Bar\, we’ll crea
	te a special world\njust for you\, and we’ll journey through it together.\
