FF8282 is the ambient and electronic project of Meanjin-based composer, producer, and nylon string guitarist April Emily. Entirely self-recorded and engineered, her music blends sprawling, experimental soundscapes with the immediate intimacy of heartfelt songwriting, drawing inspiration from Brazilian musical traditions and visceral poetry. Their on-stage artistry feels deeply personal, strange, melancholic, and quietly beautiful.

After decades of building and blowing shit up in the metal scene, LHP is here doing experimental/synth/noise/dance music where he belongs. Dedicated to keeping electronic music as alive and interesting as possible, Poochy provides an onslaught of genre-ignorant, thundering grooves, wailing feedback and time-invariant hypnotic melodies with a hard limit of nothing higher than 12-bit resolution.
